Known Honey Bees

I do not know how many Honey Bees were built but the list below contains details of those I know of. If you have information about other boats please contact me. Some boats have sail numbers which are Clyde racing numbers. A few boats were built to a modification which the designer designated Queen Bees, they were identical except for the interior with a quarter berth giving a five berth layout. Clicking on the boat name will show more information about that boat.

  1. As former owners of Sanday (1977 -2007) we were very upset to see her in the Caledonian Canal at Inverness this week in a very sad and neglegted looking state with peeling varnish, delaminating hatches and bare patches on the hull. Current owner unknown but apparently been there several years and looking well cared for when she arrived from Kip. I have some mobile phone images if you are interested. Richard Houston
