Cara has had a few names,Roiseal ,Sallylightfoot and Merry Mariette.  Cara was built in Gourock by Hugh MacLean in 1960 for James Claike Walker and remained in Scotland for 17 years.She was brought to the south of Ireland from Dumbarton in April 1977.Her home ports have been between Kinsale and Crosshaven since.She still remained on the British register O.N 302209 until March 2000. Now in Crosshaven., Ireland.
